  I spoke with an agent in 2013 to discuss a policy and process whether or not I was qualified. The agent said that I needed to put down a deposit and if the policy did not come to fruition the deposit money would be refunded. The policy was never brought to fruition yet American Income Life has been taking money out of my account for the past two years, even after I called and questioned their practices, the manager of the office where I was processed told me it wasn't her problem and to contact the headquarters. American Income Life will not stop my payments and I had to go through my bank to stop the auto deductions.

  We set up an appointment to get some Life Insurance Policies. The "gentleman" and I use the term loosely, that called us to schedule blew us off twice. The first time we got a call two days later in which he said he tried to reach us on his way, but we didn't answer. We were waiting at home for him and the phone never rang. The second time he blew us off, he waited two days and then said he tried to reach us the night before and left us messages. Again, no message, no call, and he was a day late. When he finally showed the 3rd time a half hr late, he had alcohol on his breath and his eyes were dilated. He was talking in circles and over the laptop presentation he was trying to show. He told us we had to make decisions on the spot because all reps only come around once. They never stayed in the same area long because there were millions in need of his services. With that being said, he couldn't understand why we couldn't recommend 10 people for him to call. This was a one time offer and they would lose out! I wouldn't want him knowing where they lived let alone go there while their children were home. I noticed on his "schedule" which he had in front of me were other customers names, addresses, etc... that he scheduled people in half an hr blocks. Since he wasted an hr and a half of our time, that meant he blew off two to three other people off without as much as a phone call. He kept referring to the Unions they represented but couldn't find the Union that a family member of ours was part of. He said he lost that page in another book he had... but they were all the same mostly. Some were slightly different though because the larger the union, the more benefits they could get so we could read about the other union benefits if we wanted. Finally, the following day, when he was supposed to call to confirm what we were doing, he didn't call again. He said if we wanted to meet him, he would just push off the other person which was already scheduled. No surprise. Then I called the company and left a voice mail and I still have yet to hear from them. I'm not sure I would trust them with a dime if this is what the representatives are like. After reading more reviews online about how they hire people, its no wonder they are in the position they are in. I was very disappointed.

  Nothing but a positive experience with the company. If you don't give them a chance because only negativity is written here, then you're losing out. It appears that many can't handle honesty or best practices for success. I'm glad I opened up the door to the company.
